Day 18 of the February daily challenge

The art of imagination

Before we begin, I want to remind you to let me know what kind of things you would like me to write about. You can tell me down in the comments, or you can let me know on one of my social media platforms, you can follow me on twitter: @CreativeGanger, google plus: +Creative Ganger, or tumblr: learnnewthingseveryday. Let's begin.

First of all, I love imagining things, now this doesn't make me a introvert. I do zone out sometimes when I have a thought on my mind. I like to imagine so that I can write stories. If I couldn't imagine how could I even think of starting a blog, let alone a YouTube channel. My English teacher taught me to feel empathy towards the characters you read so that you can understand the character and know what's going on in the story, feeling the character helps you like them more and actually feel like you are connected to the character. I have recently asked this question. If we did not imagine, would we still be here today as it is now? I would agree to the answer no, we would not be here without the key of imagination. We would not have come to this point in technology. Thomas Edison, without imagination would never have invented the light bulb, or get inspiration from someone. The Wright Brothers would not have invented an airplane if they did not imagine achieving something that extraordinary. In a way, Imagination can be wondering if this or that could happen. But of course imagination can be used negatively or have a negative impact on you. For example, Albert Einstein came up with the equation E=MC2 which led to more equations that eventually led to the wonder of making a nuclear bomb. Albert Einstein was a Passive man, he did not intend his inventions to be used for war, but his imagination gave inspiration to others who thought it could be useful for war and then they imagined what it would be like making the bomb and eventually went through with it. Imagination can cause people to day dream which isn't bad unless you are never paying attention to reality, if you are day dreaming and you don't notice your at a crosswalk, now this depends on how deep your day dreaming is, if you aren't in a deep day dream you know your surroundings, but if it is deeper you don't, if you are not paying attention to the crosswalk you could get into an accident. In my opinion though, their seems to be less cons than pros for imagining. That is why I still love to imagine.

What has the art of imagination help me achieve?

I ended up publishing to you guys my Dreamtastraphy short story, the Ultimate enemy, and the Worst fear short story. without this art, I would not be able to continue writing my story. the one that I showed some of my brainstorming.

I would encourage you guys to imagine beyond what you normally imagine. Take a few minutes in a silent room, focus only on your thoughts and imagine beyond what you normally imagine. If you love writing, this is perfect for giving you more ideas. If you are an actual artist, it will give you ideas to paint or draw about, and for anybody else, it is very useful.

Thank You so much for reading this and please let me know what you are interested in reading. You can check out my latest video that I uploaded: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Et6LuAa-lhU
